Personio Integration

This integration type can be used for automated boxes such as birthday boxes.

API credentials allow data to be exchanged between Personio and LocalHeroBox.

Generate API Credentials

1. Go to Settings > API credentials.

2. Click on the Generate new credential button on the top right of the screen.

3. In the Add new credential sidebar that appears, enter a meaningful name (e.g., LocalHeroBox Integration) for the API credentials into the Name field. This name will be important if you need to re-access or remove the credentials.

4. Select Other as the integration from the Integration drop-down menu.

5. Assign the access permission level for employee personal data by selecting the Read checkbox for Employees Personal Data. Note, only the Read access permission for Employees is required. Thus, LocalHeroBox can only read specific employee data, that is defined in the next steps.

6. From the Readable employee attributes drop-down menu, select the following attributes

• First name

• Last name

• Email

• Gender

• Status

• Employment type

• Hire date

• Contract ends

• Birthday

• Employee ID

• Street and house number

• Postcode

• City

• Country

7. Click on the Generate new credential button.

8. Send the credentials (Your client ID and Your secret ) to LocalHeroBox via our secure One-time-password tool. Type in your secret and send the one-click link displayed to your LocalHeroBox account manager.
